okay but imagine this: everytime ronan visits adam at college he brings him some flowers and plants from the barns or like stawberries or cherry tomatoes in a pot……..adam’s dorm is full of flowers and potted vegetables and fruits,, ronan brings like half of the barns to adam who now lives in a fucking garden but he’s never felt more at home
okay but the first two Raven cycle books Maggie put the translations to the Latin phrases and then she just,,,,stopped??? like??? do you think I know Latin??? I have to google everything Ronan says,,,,, Adam and Ronan have literal conversations IN Latin and I’m just,,,,, lost????
The second secret was perfect in its concealment. Ronan did not say it. Ronan did not think it. He never put lyrics to the second secret, the one he kept from himself.

He started to answer, but pain welled up, sudden and shocking. The only way he could get the sentiment out was by drowning the words with acid. It came out sounding like he hated the place. Like he couldn’t wait to get away. Mocking and cruel, he said, “Yes. This was my castle.”
